These 'super' Gr II Garand stocks came out of Korea some decades ago, and have Korean markings painted on them to prove it. "Super" refers to the "Gr II", not to them being in better condition. If you are looking for "Grade II" Garand stocks, you will not be disappointed, as these are REALLY Grade II, no doubt about it. 100% guaranteed. I don't see any repairs per se (but the one YOU get will no doubt have some...), but I do see gouges, deep scratches, all the usual dings and bumps - so refinishing these to 'as new' will challenge you. Once done, your chest can swell with pride at your accomplishment: You REALLY know how to refinish rifle stocks!! Sorry, we ran out of the refinished, as-new M1 stocks some time ago. I do not expect to see any more...

These stocks, having seen much use and having been refinished at least once before, do not show any markings. They are much thicker than a standard M14 stock, so there's a lot of wood to allow you to get down to a smooth surface...

The metal is worn, sometimes rusty, sometimes pitted - but it is there, and is functional and complete.
