Filling in the Selector Cutout

I have a good M14 synthetic stock that has the cut out for the selector. What can I use to fill this in that will not separate from the stock? And where can I get it? Thanks for your time. David G.

David: Any auto store should have short-strand fiberglass filler. Key is to clean, degrease, remove the paint, and roughen the stock inside the selector cutout for good adhesion. Another time-saver: wait until the filler has nearly dried, and trim and sand it to a smooth surface before it completely hardens. Fred
