Good Books And Videos
GOOD BOOKS: Rawls, Patriots, or how to survive the coming collapse - What a book! A combination rollicking story and survival manual that several re-readings will not empty it - you'll learn something new each time you read it! Most highly recommended!
Bowden, Blackhawk Down - riveting tale of Somalia operation. Exceptionally detailed account of stuff the Army might not want to see in print. Try to count the number of times M16 performance is cussed by user-operators - in a one-day operation!
Dick J. Reavis, The Ashes of Waco, 1995. A sober factual account by a journalist who lets you draw your own conclusions.
John Ross, Unintended Consequences. Better tighten your seat belt for the last 200 pages of this 800 page book as John Ross hits the after-burner. The first 600 pages are no slouch, but when I was through, I immediately turned back 200 pages and started the last 200 pages again. Don't miss this one!
Good Videos: The best 2nd Amendment movie ever made - Red Dawn - hated by every liberal because it showed average Americans using firearms to defeat a Soviet/Cuban invasion. You will not believe it as American freedom fighters on horseback take on Hind attack helicopters with AKs and RPGs. An excellent film at an unbeatable price. Show it at your next gun club meeting. Also out: Platoon - a good Vietnam film, despite a liberal director - also at $6.95. Starship Troopers is another good film. Despite laughable military tactics, the spirit of obligation, duty, and sacrifice is well-portrayed. Last, and certainly not least, is Three Kings, about as good a movie about the Gulf War as you'll ever see. All four films are at Walmart for about $6 each. Red Dawn is the best to give to kids in your extended family, might make them think about important things. |
